Policies

General

It is our policy at Nook & Cranny Company, that all furniture be inspected prior to restoration and/or repair in order to provide an accurate quote. Any additional services requested by the customer after the initial quote will incur additional costs, which will be presented to the customer.

While we welcome customer feedback, it is our discretion as to the best solution for the piece. It should be understood that restored, repaired, refinished, resurfaced, painted, or caned furniture will never be “perfect.”

We are not liable for damages incurred while in the customer's possession after delivery and final inspection.  We always strive do our best to meet our customer's needs.

Completion Time

We can provide an APPROXIMATE time-frame for completion, but cannot guarantee an exact completion date, as it varies depending upon the project.  Due to factors out of our control (weather, sickness, etc.), completion times may take longer than initially quoted.  Completion times are also dependent upon the detailed nature of the pieces, the number of pieces, and restorative repairs to be made.

As always, we strive to complete projects as quickly as humanly possible without compromising the integrity of our work.

Pick-Up & Delivery

We do provide pick-up and delivery, which will be calculated into the final quote. Travel time and distance is taken into consideration. Customer drop-offs and pick-ups are welcomed by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Payment Options

We require 50% of the total quoted price upfront in the form of cash or check. Before making your decision, please note that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit as it serves as a placeholder for your project amongst the other paid customers.

The remaining total cost must be paid upon delivery or pick-up in the form of cash. We do not accept checks as the final payment.

Refunds

Custom refinishing, repairs, restoration, painting, and/or caning work is NON-REFUNDABLE. We allow full inspection of our work upon completion before final payment is made. Any inadequacies must be brought to our attention during this time.
